There are 105 cards with different Australian birds and these have all been given two rankings; their fighting value and their twitching value. You will be dealt 7 cards that makes up your flock for two hands before being replenished. You will use two birds per hand to try and have the highest combined fight or twitch across your cards. in the centre of the board is a spinning Wedgie that will determine in a 50/50 spin whether twitch or fight wins the points. There are 9 Power birds that change the nature of each hand.
The Rulebook describes the game in four levels, each adding skill and complexity. The video tutorial jumps straight into playing at level 4.
